We offer both private and open plan studios open 24/7 to cater for creative practitioners who prefer to work in solitude, as well as those who prefer to work alongside others.
The studios are suitable for a variety of art forms, all we ask is that applicants be committed to contributing to a creative working environment by using their studio on a regular basis. Most of the studios have excellent natural light.
Studio spaces fee: £60-£280 per month
neo: artist is an artist led, not-for-profit organization, founded to aid the development of creative practitioners.
neo: artists began in 2007 by passionate practitioners who had the vision of leading a contemporary creative space for artists to work, link with artists on the local, national and international scenes and provide peer support.
We have been in the current studios since 2009 and the facilities are fantastic for all kinds of media and practice.
Studio holders receive:
- 24hr access to studio spaces
- access communal printing, darkroom and 3d sculpture facilities (with prior experience or induction)
- website presence
- skill sharing, peer support and critical dialogue
- exhibition and curating opportunities
Access:
The studio is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We regret there is currently no disabled access but funding is being applied for to remedy this situation.
