Fragmentation(s) the new exhibition at Neo:galleryx Bolton UK
Preview Saturday 23rd February 2 – 4pm
Market Place Shopping Centre, Bolton is home to the new contemporary art gallery run by neo:artists. Located on the ground floor at the end of the Café Boulevard the large space is hosting a show by their own artists called “Fragmentation(s)” which features work by 18 of them.
The curators Marguerite Heywood and Thaleia Kavvada explained the title:
“Fragmenting is a difficult part of our lives at present. These art works explore ideas of actual physical disintegration and the tiny fragments which we can only try to understand, not really see. Some works examine issues like voting or jobs which are literally concerned with fragments, like mining. Several abstract pieces take on the idea of how tiny pieces come together in fluid and sharp-edged images.”
