Artist statement
Drawing is an essential part of my practice; I also use other media including paint, collage, threads, and make short digital films. Recently I have included poetry in my work – responding to my own writing and that of members of my local performance poetry group.
I am always open to developing my scope for experimentation, in particular, I relish being able to work on a subject or story. I hope that my work reflects the contemporary world and I make a lot of use of humour in all aspects of my work.
