neo: is proud to present the Hot Bed Press 20:20 Print Exchange 2018 at neo:galleryX

The 20:20 Print exchange involves around 500 artists each year from print workshops, artist collectives and university print departments from across the UK as well as international print studios. In 2018 we had 577 artists from 41 workshops including Moscow, Hong Kong and Reykjavik, (the box from Canada is ‘still in transit’).

Each artist produces an edition of 25 prints. The workshop sends a package of prints by 1st November. In return by mid-November each artist receives a portfolio of 20 random prints. Each artist receives their random selection box through their workshop. No box/selection is the same.

The no. 1 of every edition goes on tour. Each workshop also receives a random portfolio and a twinned portfolio matching them up with another print workshop, each workshop getting the same selection of prints. They can choose to exhibit, archive and/or sell these prints to raise money for their workshop or group.
