After studying for a Fine Art degree 1986-89 I’ve worked in industry and also the teaching profession.
I use a variety of clay and techniques, my pieces are sculptural but cross over to functionality through the inclusion of a hidden space. My work is constantly evolving. I’ve recently discovered stained glass by taking a class at Bolton College, I’d highly recommend it. Working with a different material has pushed me out of my comfort zone.
I continue to be interested in the area where art and craft meet – the concept of acceptability for all human creativity
