neo:printprize2016 invites artists to submit works across the full range of printmaking techniques from the traditional to the digital, including 3D prints, printmaking related video, monoprints and print related installations. The exhibition intends to raise awareness of new trends and directions in printmaking by showcasing excellence and innovation in contemporary printmaking. The exhibition is open to all artists over the age of 18 worldwide.

Must be over the age of 18.
Must register, pay the non-refundable entry fee of £15 for up to two submissions and submit online, no later than noon Monday 16th May 2016.

May enter maximum of two artworks only. Substitutes will not be accepted.
Undertakes that the work submitted is of his, or her own origination, and that he or she holds all moral and intellectual property rights in that work.
Accepts that the images and artwork, if shortlisted, are entered at the artist's own risk. The organisers are not liable for any loss or damage incurred to the image or artwork if shortlisted, or selected for the exhibition itself.
Must register and submit their online entry by the stated deadline, or the entry will be invalid.
Will be advised by email of the outcome of Stage 1 of the selection process by midnight 4th June 2016.
Accepts responsibility for the transportation of the artworks to and from the designated delivery address if shortlisted for Stage 2. The organisers will not be liable for any loss or damage, however caused, either in transit to and from the exhibition, or during any period of storage, packing or unpacking or in any period in which the work may be on their premises or in their keeping. At Stage 2, the artist is advised to take out their own commercial insurance to cover their work in transit (two-way), throughout the judging period and if selected, for the exhibition period.
All shortlisted artists will be notified of the outcome of Stage 2 selection by email by 12th August 2016.
If not selected for the final exhibition, agrees to collect their work from the specified address within the allotted time frame - works delivered by courier/postal service can be repacked in the original packaging then courier collection arranged by the artist, to be returned at the artist’s expense. For smaller items, the artist can arrange with us to send packaged artworks through the postal service that the artist can pay through Paypal to us.
If selected for the final exhibition, agrees to remove any artworks after the close of the exhibition on 30th October 2016.
Accepts that, if a final exhibitor, all sales of exhibited work must be undertaken by Neoartists Studios CIC during the exhibition period.
If selected for the exhibition, agrees to the reproduction of the submitted work or a detail of that work (at no fee) to be used in association with the exhibition, including press, publicity, merchandise, catalogues and postcards etc.

Digital images of the submitted work must be jpgs, no larger than 5mb in size and a minimum of 1000 pixels width or height (300dpi). One image showing each complete artwork must be submitted.
The image of the artwork must not be manipulated in anyway and must be of the artwork entered. The artwork shown on the image must be available, if shortlisted, for Stage 2 of the competition and the exhibition itself. Substitutes cannot be accepted.
The image and completed entry form must be submitted online.
Full details of digital image requirements will be given during the registration process.
It is important that the quality of the digital image best reflects the submitted work. The first stage of selection is entirely based on the image submitted.
Each image file name must be named with your surname followed by either a letter or a number e.g. smith_1.jpg, smith_2.jpg.

The video will be uploaded anonymously to a secure portal to which only the judges will have access to.
Must be new or recent work, preferably within the last 12 months, must be the original work of the artist named on the registration form. Must be unique and/or editioned in all original print, which means one off works including monoprints and monotypes, 3D and installation and limited editioned work that is signed and numbered.
Editioned artworks must be clearly numbered with size of edition and number of edition available for sale and must have a framed and unframed price.
Must, if shortlisted for Stage 2, be the same work as that submitted as an image at Stage 1 and be available for Stage 2 of the competition and if selected for the exhibition itself.
2D wall mounted work should measure no more than 2m high x 3m wide. Work made up of more than one piece, such as a diptych or triptych, must also be no larger than 2m high x 3m wide when displayed on a wall. Unframed paper works will be accepted and mounted with magnets, pins or bulldog clips.
Size limitations are according to available space for 3D and installation and directions of installation must be provided during digital submission and accompany work at stage 2 delivery submission.
Work shortlisted for Stage 2 must be available from the sending in week to the close of the exhibition and cannot be removed before the exhibition closing date of Sunday 30th October 2016.
The judges’ decision will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
Work sold from the exhibition is subject to a 20% commission charge. This charge will be made by Neoartists Studios CIC upon completion of the sale and will be invoiced to the artist. The charge will be based upon the sale price stated by the artist.
Where the artist is registered for VAT, the sale price will, for commission purposes, be the price exclusive of the VAT charge.
Entry to the neo:printprize also allows qualifying artists to be considered for the neo:residency.
Artists should indicate that they are eligible and would like to be considered for this when completing the online application form.
The neo:residency is open to artists of all ages graduating 2015/16.
